Upon request of SSM, the salary compensation in the amount of 100% during the period of Covid 19 infection or self isolation for the employees in the public sector has been returned.
The activities undertaken by SSM in the past period related to this important issue for the workers, gave results despite the fact that damage was done by certain non-governmental organizations.
We appeal again to the employers from the private sector to regulate this right for the workers in the private sector through quick changes in the General Collective Agreement, and if not, we remind that the helping hand of the workers today can easily become a clenched fist tomorrow.
