Referring to the basic democratic values comprised in Article 32 of the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia, related to the right to work, free choice, protection at work; drawing on the principles promoted by the ITUC and the ETUC to protect this right, citing the Memorandum on joint cooperation of the unions in Macedonia and the appeal of all unions, CCM expresses its concern about the escalation of the policies, and the more evident economic situation in the country, therefore submitting an Appeal to all involved parties in this process to take the necessary constitutional and legal powers to deal with the crisis in the interest of the stability of the state, in the interest of the prosperity of the Macedonian society, in the interests of ensuring the normal working process and in the interest of providing social, financial and economic situation of the workers and citizens in Macedonia.
CCM calls upon all relevant actors and stakeholders to approach towards overcoming of the crisis, respecting the Constitution, the unitary character of the state, the state sovereignty and integrity, equality and integrity of the people and citizens and the multiethnic character of the country.
CCM calls upon respect of the implementation of these basic constitutional values and principles as a foundation that shall enable further prosperity of the citizens and the workers in the country. We are convinced that all trade union centers, signatories of the Memorandum on joint cooperation and all other unions shall give their maximum contribution in the direction of achieving the aforementioned goals and values as foundations that ensure the future prosperity of the citizens and the workers in the country.
For CCM, the resolution of the crisis, the strict adherence to the Constitution, legality, unity and sovereignty of the country and joint living is a priority for all and represents an essential precondition for a peaceful and tranquil life and development of the Republic of Macedonia.
