Caption 1. The President Mitrevski on the workshop
On 14.3.2017, in the framework of the Project "Promoting social dialogue", financed by the EU, implemented by the ILO, a one-day workshop devoted to bipartite collective bargaining in the trade sector was organized.
The collective bargaining in the RM, its challenges and opportunities with particular focus on the sectoral bargaining in the trade sector was presented by the President of CCM, PhD Zhivko Mitrevski and the Executive Director of the Employers Organization, Belinda Nikolovska. The collective bargaining in the trade sector in Germany was presented by Niels Buch Petersen and Erika Ritter.
Based on these presentations, the workshop had a special plenary discussion for the opportunities and challenges of the collective bargaining in the trade sector. On the workshop, besides the representatives of CCM, representatives from Employers’ Organization, Business Confederation of Macedonia and the Confederation of Free Trade Unions were also present.
The workshop is a continuation of the activities of the social partners and CCM in terms of presentation of best practices and raising the capacity for collective bargaining in CCM and in the trade union movement in the country.
