On Friday, January 25, 2019, at the premises of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, the first meeting of the negotiating teams of CCM and OEM was held, on which the draft text of the new General Collective Agreement for the private sector from the area of the economy prepared and adopted by the Presidency of CCM was discussed. The text comprises proposals from the unions affiliated in CCM, exclusively in the direction of promoting labor rights of the private sector employees and harmonization to the European standards.
On the meeting, the negotiating teams of the social parties harmonized their views with regard to the creation and harmonization of a new General Collective Agreement for the private sector in the area of the economy (GCA).
The goodwill and dedication of both social partners for the launch of this very important process for the private sector workers was emphasized, which regulates an important segment of the socio-economic sphere at the national level.
The process is expected to continue in the next weeks, scheduling the next meeting of the negotiating teams of CCM and OEM.
