Pursuant to Article 4, paragraph (2) of the Law on Minimum Wage, the amount of the minimum wage in gross amount starting from April 2020 shall be 21,776 denars, ie the minimum wage in the net amount shall be 14,934.00 denars which represents an increase of 435 denars. The current minimum wage which is 14.500,00 denars.
CCM confirms that there is a real need to increase the minimum wage in ]future, which according to the European recommendations and tendencies should be 60% of the average salary in the country.
At the same time, we appeal to the employers to monitor the minimum wage growth and this minimum wage increase to be the basis for a gradual increase of all workers' wages, which can be very easily implemented through compliance with the collective agreements.
