Today in the premises of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia the members of CCM and the MLSP who are part of the working group for the preparation of the General Collective Agreement for the public sector had their first meeting.
The members of the working group have agreed on the dynamics and the timeframe for the negotiations for the General Collective Agreement for the public sector.
The establishment of a working group for the preparation of a General Collective Agreement for the public sector is at the request of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, and in accordance with the discussion and the conclusion of the 49th session of the ESC, since from 2012 until today there have been no negotiations for signing a new GCA for the public sector.
The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia has also drafted its own draft text of the General Collective Agreement for the public sector which will be submitted to the working group.
CCM is the only representative national trade union in the public and private sector and remains the only protector of workers' rights.
