The President of CCM, Darko Dimovski, today had a working meeting with the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Mila Carovska and the President of the Employers Organization of Macedonia, Angel Dimitrov.

On this meeting several issues have been discussed such as the negotiation process for the signing of the General Collective Agreement for the private sector, the need to start the negotiation process for concluding a General Collective Agreement for the public sector, the proposals of CCM regarding the new Labor Law, CCM's request for determining the representativeness of CCM, the latest amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, which increased the contribution rate and the impact of the same on the salaries of the workers as well as many other issues related to the promotion of workers' rights and promotion of the social dialogue between the social partners.
The partners mutually agreed that it is necessary to hold regular working meetings to discuss all open issues.
Today's meeting, as well as the meeting between CCM and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, once again confirm the involvement, the role and significance of CCM as an active social partner, exclusively in the direction of improvement and promotion of workers' rights.
