Today, in the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, a meeting between the President of CCM, Darko Dimovski and the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Mila Carovska was held. The meeting was attended by the members of the Negotiating Committee on the draft text of the new Labor Law (General Secretary of CCM, Zlatko Cvetkovski, the President of SIER, Pece Risteski and the President of AGRO, Zivko Danevski).

On this meeting the proposals of CCM on the text of the new Labor Law were discussed, as well as the Government's announced measure to subsidize wage increases, the need to increase all wages, including an increase of the minimum wage, and other issues related to the promotion of workers' rights.
The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia is the only representative social partner that has drafted its own text of the Labor Law, on which other social partners and trade unions can comment and discuss.
The meeting between the leadership of CCM and the Minister of Labor and Social Policy is a confirmation of the importance of the role of CCM in the field of protection and promotion of workers' rights.
