In the organization of the Trade Union of Construction, Industry and Civil Engineering (SGIP), on 8th and 9th of June 2019, a training for OHS representatives was successfully realized. The training was realized within the framework of a project through a sub-contract scheme of the Macedonian Occupational Safety and Health Association.
The aim was to strengthen the organization's capacities through education of SGIP’s members, as well as to review OHS regulation in accordance with the European regulation. At the same time, the aim was to raise the awareness of employees in order to increase the health and safety at work, as well as to assist colleagues in their scope of work.
The representatives of the bodies of SGIP were informed on the new amendments in the field of Occupational Safety and Health and the manner they should apply them in the following period.
The training was attended by 36 participants, which in the next period are expected to strengthen the organization, especially in the area of safety and health at work, by applying the amended regulations.
