On 3.3.32017 as part of the activities within the Project: "Promoting social dialogue" financed by the EU and implemented by the ILO and the social partners in the Republic of Macedonia, the Employers Organization of Macedonia were presented policy proposals to improve the business climate in Macedonia aimed at facilitating the legal environment, rule of law, development of entrepreneurial culture, encouraging fair competition and access to financial services.
These policy proposals to improve the business climate were proposed by the President of the Employers Organization of Macedonia, Angel Dimitrov and are the result of analyzes and surveys that have been conducted in the business sector. Besides the presentation of the President of the Employers Organization of Macedonia, these measures were presented by the representatives of legal entities and relevant experts.
The event was attended by representatives of the social partners, presidents of trade unions, representatives of ministries, business sector and other organizations.
The President of CCM, PhD Zhivko Mitrevski, who attended the event, noted the importance of further promotion of the social dialogue and all relevant measures in the direction of improvement of the social dialogue, but also providing a thorough opportunity for the exercise of workers' rights encouraged by such measures.
In the area of policy proposals for enabling legal environment and rule of law the President Mitrevski emphasized the importance of establishment of legislation through participation of the unions and employers and opportunities for greater autonomy of the social partners to regulate social dialogue through the collective bargaining.
At the same time the President Mitrevski announced the public presentation in a similar composition of the Social Progress Protocol, which shall also be presented in the EU InfoCentre.
