Bearing in mind the recommendations and conclusions of the World Health Organization on the Corona virus, the latest developments in the world and in the region, where countries are taking appropriate preventive measures that are aimed at protecting the citizens, as well as the fact that the Chinese company Sinohydro operates on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia at multiple locations with employees from the Republic of China who regularly transit on the China - Macedonia route, we invite you as responsible authority for our workers and citizens to take appropriate measures and activities to prevent the spread of the virus on our territory. From what we see, there is a constant departure and arrival of Chinese workers from Sinohydro, and we urge them to take appropriate preventive measures in line with WHO recommendations without limiting their stay at work.
As the only representative Trade Union of the employees in the Construction industry we are concerned about the employees and the citizens and expect feedback on the measures taken to avoid unplanned delays and interruption of ongoing construction activities.
