Today, the Independent Union for Health, Pharmacy and Social Protection, together with the health workers from PHI University Clinic for Surgical Diseases “St. Naum Ohridski - Skopje organized a protest against harrasement of medical workers. The protest was attended by the President of the Independent Trade Union of Health, Pharmacy and Social Protection, Dr. Ljubisa Karanfilovski, the President of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, Darko Dimovski and the Director of the PHI Clinic “St. Naum Ohridski - Skopje, prim. Dr. Ivan Spirovski.

The protest condemned the attacks of medical doctors, nurses and other health care workers and demanded greater protection and stricter penal policy of anyone who would attempt verbally or physically to assault an employee.
The protest follows the recent attacks of medical doctors and medical workers at the St. Naum Ohridski Hospital in Skopje.
