The members of the Economic and Social Council from CCM, Darko Dimovski, President of CCM, Zivko Danevski, President of AGRO, Ljupco Radovski, President of STKC and Risto Ajtov, President of SOB participated at the 56th session of the Economic and Social Council in the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

The President of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (CCM), Darko Dimovski, emphasized that the Economic and Social Council functioned well in the past period, through which, several important laws and amendments to the Labor Law have been adopted such as the raise of the minimum wage on proposal of CCM, the youth related allowance, subsidizing the increase of workers' salaries etc. Also a wide debate has been opened regarding the new Labor Law and reminded that CCM has drafted the full text of the new Labor Law which was submitted to the social partners.
"We demand fixed-term contracts to last maximum one year, we demand maternity leave to be increased to 12 months and a number of other rights that we consider necessary for the workers" said Darko Dimovski, president of CCM.
