In the period from 13-14 December in Adana, Turkey the European Committee of the BWI was held. Besides the representatives of the BWI Committee, the European Women's Committee was also present on this event. The President of SGIP, Pavel Trendafilov, the General Secretary of SGIP, Blaguna Stojkoska and the Chief Trade Union Representative of Granit Skopje, Ivana Dimitrova attended the European Committee and the Women's Committee of BWI.

Ivana Dimirtova was elected as a member of the Women Committee of the BWI and out of all members she was also elected ad a Vice President of the BWI Women Committee for the next mandate period. This is a proof that the Union of SGIP works in the direction of promotion of workers' rights on national and european level. The Union of SGIP deems that in future the Youth shall be put in the focus of the fight for better workers' rights.
