Yesterday, the President of SSM, Darko Dimovski, the Secretary of the Council of SSM, Zlatko Cvetkovski had a meeting with 50 workers from a textile company from Bogdanci, and the meeting was attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Bogdanci, Blaze Shopov.
The new telephone line where workers can ask and report labor rights violations is of great help to workers.
After the report submitted by few employees in the company Brebo-eco text from Bogdanci, regarding manipulation by the employer and forcing employees to sign blank sheets with which their employment contact from indefinite to fixed term has been transformed, as well as other manipulation, SSM reacted immediately.
We stand in protection of the textile workers and all measures will be taken against employers who manipulate workers.
In the past, in cooperation with the State Labor Inspectorate, this phenomenon was quickly and efficiently resolved and the workers were returned to their jobs, and the employers were sanctioned.
The President of SSM and the Mayor of the Municipality of Bogdanci made a joint appeal, workers not to sign blank documents and to report any kind of manipulation and violation of their labour rights to the Union and SSM to proceed with legal procedures in respective authorised institutions on thier behalf.
