STOP GENDER PAY GAP
Wage inequality between men and women is one of the most important issues on which CCM is working.
The gender pay gap is not in line with the ILO Convention S-100 on Equal Pay, as well as the Constitution and labor laws - the Labor Law, the Anti-Discrimination Law and the Law on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women, etc.
The social dialogue should be extended to the issue of gender pay gap, and by respecting the Collective Agreements, a more effective solution can be reached to overcome such a difference.
Women are not evenly distributed when it comes to key positions, and data show that women earn lower salary than men, emphasising that the wage gap is most prevalent among low-skilled women.
One of the reasons for this situation is the low rate of trade union organizing among women, something that must change in the future period.
