STRENGTHENING THE INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF CCM AND BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS BETWEEN THE UNIONS

On June 18, 2019, in Bucharest, Romania, as part of the activities of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia for building partnerships and strengthening the international cooperation, a delegation from CCM, led by the General Secretary of the Council of CCM, Zlatko Cvetkovski, had a bilateral meeting with the leadership of the National Trade Union Bloc (BNS) and the President of BNS, Dumitru Costin. The meeting was also attended by the Vice President of BNS, Minel Ivascu, the President of PUBLISIND Federation, Stefan Teoroc, the President of the Police Union, Europol, Cosmin Andreica and the President of the Youth Committee of BNS, Ciprian Vacaru.

At this meeting, the General Secretary of the Council of CCM, Zlatko Cvetkovski, presented the socio-economic situation of the workers in the Republic of North Macedonia, the latest developments in the labor legislation, as well as the efforts of CCM for promotion of workers' rights. In the framework of this visit, the President of the Youth Committee of CCM, Irena Ivanovska, had a meeting with the President of the Youth Committee of BNS, Ciprian Vacaru, on which a joint cooperation on the implementation of the youth policies in both countries was agreed.

What was pointed out by the President of BNS, Dumitru Costin is the satisfaction from the initiation of CCM for such a meeting, where both organizations have the opportunity to share experiences and find appropriate ways and mechanisms for joint actions and participation in international projects in the direction of promoting the position of the workers in both countries.

This visit was realized within the framework of the cooperation of the Macedonian Police Union with the Police union Europol.
