At the initiative of the BWI Women Coordinator of Group 5 and BWI Vice- President of the European Women's Committee, Ivana Dimitrova, a Women's Conference was held on the topic: STOP Gender Based Violence - Causes and Consequences, in the Hotel Granit - Ohrid on 16 and 17 March 2019.

This is only part of the BWI International Campaign, which we must jointly pursue in order to ensure equal rights and opportunities for all women in the world. Target group were 86 women - participants and the moderator of the group, Ana Vasileva. The target group of the seminar were women - members of SGIP employees of the company GD Granit AD Skopje, women members of the bodies of SGIP, representatives of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia and representatives of trade unions from the region.

The Union of SGIP is grateful to the BWI Women Coordinator of Group 5 and the Vice President of the European Women's Committee of BWI, Ivana Dimitrova, as well as to the international support received from BWI, but also is proud that such events are tradition for celebrating the International Women's Day. Women being educated, know how to cope with this problem in the future, but also will pass the knowledge to the other colleagues from the country and the region.
