The cooperation between government, trade unions, chambers, and employers 'organizations is important in creating effective and efficient policies for the promotion of workers' rights, economic policies, programs, projects and measures for faster and sustainable economic development. On the meeting all stakeholders in the social dialogue had the opportunity to exchange views with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Ms. Carovska.

The attendees on the working meeting pointed out that the cooperation so far is at a very high level, and in future, even closer cooperation is expected to be achieved in order joint solutions to be created regarding achieving higher rates of gross domestic product that will affect the raise of the living standards of the, which according to CCM is only possible by finding solutions for higher salaries through the application of the Collective Agreements and increase of the minimum wage.

In the past, the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, as the only representative trade union, has been successfully cooperating with the chambers, the Government, trade unions and employers' organizations and as a result of that close cooperation many solutions have been adopted which are in the interests of all stakeholders: workers, companies and the state.

Representatives of trade unions, chambers and employers' organizations expressed their views on the future cooperation with the Government, and jointly stated that all legislative solutions, policies, programs and measures should be adopted through joint coordination and wide-ranging consultations, thus strengthening the role of the Economic and Social Council.

In the future, the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, as the only representative and largest trade union on the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia, will continue to strive to increase the rights of workers and their protection, and will present their views on protection and safety to all stakeholders in the society.

We demand social dialogue on all levels, both through the Economic and Social Council and on all levels of bargaining and negotiation, and at the same time we oppose any attempt to devalue and undermine the current activity of the social partners.
