Today, in the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia a working meeting between the Secretary of the Council of CCM, Zlatko Cvetkovski and Magnus Berge, ILO Specialist on Workers' activities, Office for Central and Eastern Europe was held.
On this meeting the Secretary of the Council of CCM presented the activities of CCM related to the adoption of a new Labor Law, the ongoing negotiations for signing of the General Collective Agreement for the private and public sector, and the need for minimum wage increase.
CCM's support for the implementation of the above mentioned activities for promotion and harmonization of the labor legislation was emphasised during the meeting, and the dynamics for its implementation in the following period with the support of the International Labor Organization was agreed.
This confirms the role and significance of CCM as the only representative trade union in the process of protection of workers' rights.
