As part of the activities of the Youth Committee of SSM, (SMSSM) in the period from 29-31 May 2018, in Ohrid, in organization with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, office in Skopje, the Youth Committee of SSM had a workshop attended by the members of the Executive Board of SMSSM representatives from the branch unions affiliated in SSM.
The workshop was attended by the director of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Skopje, Eva Ellereit, FES coordinator, Milan Zivkovic, Ivana Vuckova, FES, the President of SSM, Darko Dimovski, the University Professor from the Law Faculty, Dragan Gocevski and Vlado Karaev, team building expert.
The workshop was opened by the President of the Youth Committee of SSM, Ms. Irena Ivanovska after which the Director of FES Skopje, Ms. Eva Ellereit addressed the present members of the Youth Committee and stressed the importance of involving young people in the union policies, promoting workers' rights of young people, and thanked the President of SSM, Dimovski for the support of SSM to the Youth Committee in the direction of their affirmation and commitment to create youth policies within the Federation. The President of CCM, Dimovski repeated the need for reforms in the trade union movement with proactive inclusion of young people in the entire process.
At the workshop, the members of the Executive Board of the Youth Committee of CCM reviewed the existing documents of the Youth Committee, the Rules of Procedure and the Action Program which were adopted by the members on the session held after the workshop.
