On the occasion of the celebration of the World Day for Health and Safety at Work, April 28, April, in the period from 19-21 April, 2019 a training for the OHS representatives was held in organization of the Union of SGIP and BWI. The main objective of the training was STRENGTHENING THE CAPACITIES OF OHS REPRESENTATIVES FOR IMPROVING OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY IN THE COMPANIES. On this training a comparative analysis of the national legislation in the field of OHS and the EU Directive 89/391 was presented by the labor proffessor, PhD Lazar Jovevski and SGIP's representatives. On this training the BWI Campaign 2019 on Health and Safety at work was also promoted. Unions are the ones who enable safe working environments! OHS representatives save lifes. OHS is responsibility to all! This is just additional training of the regular trainings that are being realized by the Union of SGIP in the direction of promotion of OHS policies and sharing good practices for a better OHS Law, said Ivan Peshevski, the Vice President of SGIP.
