Supervisory Board

Members of the Supervisory Board are:

1. The Supervisory Board supervises and controls the implementation of the SSM's financing policy, the distribution and use of the material and financial resources at the disposal of the SSM.

2. The Supervisory Board consists of 5 members and 5 deputies elected by the member unions in accordance with the Decision of the Council of the SSM on the number and composition of the Supervisory Board, and the Congress performs verification.

3. It controls and audits the overall financial operations, the implementation of decisions, the rulebook, accounting records and all positive regulations for the collection and use of funds. Minutes are drawn up for the audit and submitted to the Presidency.

4. The Supervisory Board has the right to control the financial operations without prior notice.

5. The bodies of the SSM are obliged to provide insight into the documentation for the overall material and financial operations.

6. The Supervisory Board participates in the work of the Congress and submits a report on its work to the Congress.

7. The Supervisory Board shall perform the control/audit at least once a year, and before reviewing the annual accounts of the SSM for the previous year. The minutes of the performed control/audit shall necessarily contain findings on the financial effects of the collection and use of funds, the compliance of the SSM's operations with the regulations and, if any irregularities or damage caused are found, a proposal/proposals for overcoming the situation.

The Supervisory Board shall submit the Minutes of the performed control/audit of the annual accounts to the Presidency no later than February 10 of the current year.

For the performed extraordinary control/audit, the Minutes shall be submitted to the Presidency within 5 days of its completion.
