On 04.09.2019 in the Hotel Park - Skopje a meeting of BWI's Group 10 was held on which 25 representatives from the trade unions of Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Albania, Slovenia was present as well as senior BWI officials. The meeting was chaired by the Vice President of SGIP, Ivan Pesevski as a member of the BWI World Council for Group 10. The purpose of this meeting was to review all activities of the unions in the region and to agree on the activities for the next two years. The activites shall include campaigns, strategic trade union reforms with a particular emphasis on trade union leadership, challenges with Chinese multinational companies and infrastructure, collective bargaining at all levels, occupational safety and health and other topics closely related to trade union organization and action.
