The President of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, Darko Dimovski met with the Mayor of Negotino Toni Delkov.
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary of the Council of SSM, Zlatko Cvetkovski, the President of SRSVM, Mico Stojanovski and Toni Boskovski, President and Bobi Veljanovski, Secretary of the Independent Firefighters Union of Macedonia which operates within SRSVM at SSM.
The meeting discussed the situation of workers on the territory of the Municipality of Negotino, as well as the challenges arising from the Corona crisis.
At the same time, the need for harmonization of the salaries of firefighters in accordance with Article 13 of the Law on Firefighting was discussed and it was agreed that such harmonization shall be carried out by the competent services in the Municipality.
The office of SSM in Negotino was also visited, through which the workers exercise direct protection of their labor rights, through regular meetings with the Secretary of the Council, Zlatko Cvetkovski.
