Today, a meeting was held between the president of the SGIP trade union, Ivan Peshevski, and the management of Mermeren Kombinat AD Prilep, represented by the Director of the Sivec mine, Trendafilos Trendafilou, and the Executive Director, Jasna Ajievska - Petrusheva, and the main trade union representative of the trade union organization in Marble plant at SGIP, Sasho Stojanovski and representatives from the union at the employer premises.
The management at the factory informed that although the working conditions are difficult due to the energy crisis and now also the military crisis, the average salary of the workers is 39,639 denars, and through social dialogue, there will be an additional 5% increase in the wages of all workers with the July salary, payment vacation pay until the end of July 2022, private health insurance for each employee at the expense of the employer, and at the request of the union and employees, a change in the diet will be made with a better quality provided by the employer at his expense for all employees.
At the same time, Mermeren Kombinat AD Prilep works a five-day work week and the workers rest on Saturday and Sunday, and when the analyzes of the success achieved in the first 6 months are done, a possible new salary increase will be discussed through social dialogue.
