SALARY INCREASE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SHTIP AND THE PUBLIC UTILITY ENTERPRISES

Today, the President of SSM and SUTKOZ, Darko Dimovski, and the Secretary of UPOZ, Bojan Tripunoski, held a meeting with the Mayor of Shtip Municipality, Ivan Jordanov, where they discussed the demands of SSM and the unions SUTKOZ and UPOZ for a salary increase of 2,806 denars in accordance with compliance with the minimum wage.

An agreement was reached to increase salaries in the Public Enterprises Isar and Stipion by signing agreements between the directors and the SUTKOZ union, and at the same time, it was agreed to form a new union organization of the UPOZ in the municipality and to conclude a collective agreement between the Municipality of Stip Macedonia and the Trade Union of UPOZ, which will regulate this right for employees in the Municipality.

While the central government remains deaf to the demands of the workers for livelihood and does not take care of them, the local government and more and more mayors like the Mayor of the Municipality of Shtip, Yordanov, are standing up to the workers in these difficult times.
