SUTKOZ at SSM, as the only representative union for communal activities, strongly condemns the attacks on three employees of PUC "Vodovod" from Kocani who were physically attacked by citizens while removing a defect and offers them free legal assistance.
The attack on the workers from the maintenance and field intervention group took place at their workplaces when they came to repair a water pipe that was damaged during construction work carried out by another company.
An attack on workers who are performing their work task that provides services for citizens is impermissible and the competent institutions need to immediately take measures to sanction the perpetrators and prevention of future such attacks must be ensured.
