Today, a meeting was held between the President of the SSM, Darko Dimovski, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Kavadarci, Mitko Janchev, and the Secretary of the UPOZ Union / Sindikat UPOZ, Bojan Tripunoski, the presidents of SGIP and SIER attended the meeting.
To the satisfaction of the workers and their representatives, Mayor Mitko Janchev responded positively and accepted the demands of the unions and the salaries of all employees in the municipality and public utility companies and TPE in the Municipality of Kavadarci will be adjusted by 2,806 denars in net amount.
Mayor Mitko Janchev and President Dimovski agreed that in order to fulfill this, new union organizations will be formed, such as in the Municipality of Kavadarci, where a collective agreement will be concluded with UPOZ, as well as agreements in Public Enterprises with the SUTKOZ Union.
The President of SSM Dimovski and the Secretary of UPOZ Tripunoski expressed satisfaction with the solutions reached and with the approach of Mayor Janchev, which proves that it is a socially responsible municipality that advocates for the advancement of labor rights.
With the agreement reached, and with the suppression of a new Collective Agreement for employees in the Municipality of Kavadarci and the agreements in the Public Enterprises JP Komunalec, JP for public parking lots Parking and sports hall Jasmin, salaries will increase by 2806 denars.
The example of the Municipality of Kavadarci and the Mayor Mitko Janchev, who is an example in other fields, becomes the best example of respect for workers' rights that should be followed by other municipalities, given the fact that this right was ensured to workers through social dialogue, and workers will enjoy the rights to increase and adjust their wages according to the increase of the minimum wage by 2806 denars.
