NON-EUROPEAN VALUES OF THE GOVERNMENT AND ITS REPRESENTATIVES TOWARDS WORKERS, TRADE UNIONS AND COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS

At the 32nd session of the Presidency of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia - SSM, a unanimous decision was made that no Collective Agreement at the branch level or general collective agreement can be canceled or revised for the provisions that have fiscal implications with pressure and blackmail adopted by conclusion at a government meeting.

We will not allow the reduction of workers' rights through salary cuts, non-payment of allowances, and salary allowances. The SSM and the branch unions at the SSM will not give consent to any amendments and additions to the Collective Agreements in the direction of reducing labor rights.

About this precedent with a direct violation of the Constitution and national laws as well as international labor standards, the SSM as a representative union will inform the European and world trade union organizations, the International Labor Organization, the European Council, and all competent institutions at domestic and international levels.

Such a precedent is perhaps unique within the European Union, which we will obviously not reach if this principle of non-European values ​​of the Government and its representatives continues.
