BY CUTTING THE WAGES OF THE EMPLOYEES, THE INABILITY OF THE GOVERNMENT WILL BE COVERED

Vice Prime Minister Bitiqi told us today that we should not take the salary cuts personally. And how do we understand it?

Unofficial information says that all employees who will head to work from home will receive a lower salary of 10% to 30%. This means that as a reward for working from home, which will mean higher bills for electricity, heating, food, etc. they will receive lower wages, and in some cases even lower wages than the minimum wage.

In one move, the Government abolished Trade Unions and Collective Bargaining and violated the Constitution, Laws, and ILO Conventions that the Republic of Macedonia has signed.

We will wait for the first time in the history of our country, for a Minister to receive greater powers than the Prime Minister and, in the biggest financial crisis, to decide who may and who may not receive a salary.

With such actions, the Government only succeeded in inciting the anger of the employees and uniting the Trade Unions, and we will not be responsible for the consequences and anger that will arise from these measures.
