INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN❗

With the support of the International Labor Organization, the Skopje Chancellery has produced a promotional video for the Convention on the Prevention of Violence and Harassment in the World of Work (No. 190), which we are promoting on the occasion of November 25, the day we mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

Declaration of the United Nations (UN), on the elimination of violence against women 48/104, was adopted on December 20, 1993, and since 1999, with the resolution of the UN 54/134, officially for the first time, November 25 begins to be celebrated as International day for the elimination of violence against women.

The campaign led by the SSM for the ratification of the ILO Convention 190 resulted, at a session of the Economic and Social Council, in being unanimously accepted by all social partners, which will ratify the ILO CONVENTION 190 ON PREVENTING VIOLENCE AND HARASSMENT IN THE WORLD OF WORK.
