Today's hearing on the procedure initiated by the employees represented by the Construction Union - SGIP at the SSM, has been postponed until January 17, 2023, by the bankruptcy judge Sashka Trajkovska at the request of the temporary bankruptcy trustee Aco Petrov due to the fact that due to the volume of the documentation and the size of the debtor Beton AD Skopje requested an additional period for the preparation of the Report on the economic and financial situation to determine the reasons for opening bankruptcy proceedings.
The interest in today's hearing was huge, and the workers and more than 50 representatives of other creditors left the courtroom disappointed at the delay of the hearing because the court thus allows the workers to be without any income until January 2023, and the employer during that period to continued to not pay wages which by the time of the hearing will amount to more than 8 unpaid wages, health, and pension insurance.
The trade union objectively reports that Judge Trajkovska is bothered by the fact that the trade unions represent the workers and that they do not allow unscrupulous employers to leave the workers without a piece of bread, and it is not a problem for her that the workers are without livelihood for more than 6 months until today's hearing. it also bothers him that the union firmly represents and represents the workers, which is also his legal obligation.
Today, workers and other creditors have even less faith in the judiciary, which because of such cases has only 6% trust among the people and workers, and after today's hearing, the number of employees for whom the employer has not paid wages, health and pension insurance, as and for other employees and creditors in the companies for which there were over 50 lawyers at the hearing, trust in the judiciary has dropped by at least 1% and it is no longer even 5%.
SGIP and SSM wonder whether the Bankruptcy judge Trajkovska had knowledge that the temporary bankruptcy trustee Aco Petrov is a former employee of Beton AD Skopje and they doubt the bias of the court and the temporary bankruptcy trustee.
We also call on the Administration for Public Revenue to follow the developments in Beton AD Skopje with particular attention because the employer is known for paying 100 denars salary or half the salary to the workers, and the Administration for financial police.
