The President of the Trade Union for Construction, Industry and Design of the Republic of Macedonia - SGIP, Ivan Peshevski emphasized that during the year 2022, as a trade union, they provided free legal aid and legal protection to over 1,000 workers in the construction and building materials industry sector.
He also pointed out that the wages of workers in companies where there is a union started to increase at the very beginning of 2022, and K-15 is paid, which in companies from the building materials industry was paid in the amount of 100% of the average salary, and bonuses were also paid, as well as the fact that in one company all workers became shareholders, which should be a sufficient motive for other construction workers to join the SGIP Trade Union.
