TRENDAFILOV FROM SSM: AND THE NEW SYSTEM FOR SALARIES IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR IS BAD!

The powers given to the Minister of Finance by the Draft Law on the Public Sector Salary System, as well as by the provisions of the draft Labor Relations Law that is being drafted, deal a serious blow to labor rights.

Trendafilov also claims that the draft law on the salary system in the public sector violates other legal solutions, as well as international conventions.

According to Trendafilov, in the draft law on the system of times in the public sector, it is dangerous that during annual leave, which is a constitutionally guaranteed right, only the basic salary will be paid, so for the days of annual leave, workers will be fined for the amount of the allowance for past work, the allowance for authorization, etc., which will mean that 138,000 workers, once a year, will be fined at least 30% of their salary for using annual leave!

In a conversation with "Utrinski Pechat", he says that the ultimate outcome of the new legal solution is less money for workers and a series of other violations of workers' rights. Trendafilov emphasized that the Government did not fulfill the promise of a general collective agreement in the public sector, so there is discrimination among the public administration itself, for example, some take K-15 and others do not.

All remarks about this draft law, the danger of suspending collective agreements, as well as about where the long-announced brand new law on labor relations got stuck, see the VIDEO-INTERVIEW below as well as at the link:
