The Occupational Safety and Health at work is a priority in the activities of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, therefore CCM demands workers to be protected from air pollution and the measures of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, starting from 8.1.2018 aimed at mitigating the consequences of the air pollution in the city of Skopje to be respected.
The measures have been activated after the received information that the air quality for two consecutive days has exceeded the allowed boundaries, i.e. over 200μg/m3 in the City of Skopje.
