The trade unionists retorted, the employers persistently demand some rights from the employment relationship, which will once again be on the backs of the employee, that is, the state and the budget. The SSM believes that the very fact that 500,000 workers have left the country in the last 10 years speaks of the fact that the appetites of the employers are always satisfied and not of the drivers of the economy, the workers. They demand that such proposals be rejected and not inserted into the law on labor relations, because according to the trade unionists, the goal is to hit the state budget in order to make the financial part of the employers easier.
"I think that they only want to put certain rights on the burden of the state, and on the burden of the worker, as if to reduce their cost when a worker is absent - on sick leave. From 30 to 15 days, I don't know how much it is, if they have any statistics, but I don't believe that they have and that there are millions of sums where they are damaged as companies, on the contrary, as long as the state has not protested until now about such absence from work and they did not have such a proposal in the new draft law that should be accepted by 3 parties, I believe that it will be rejected as a request and that such a proposal of theirs does not hold water. Things and provisions in the law should not be generalized, such provisions should not stand or be enameled, because everything that is not respected as the law has the State Labor Inspectorate, the FZO, if there are abuses, has a special Commission that sends them as inspectors and checking sick leave, we, where we have disciplinary procedures for abuse of sick leave, publicly say that we do not defend and protect those workers regardless of whether they are members of the Union or not." - says Ivan Peshevski, president of SGIP.
