Yesterday, the Committee on Financing and Budget voted with a majority of votes on the amendment that was proposed by SSM and submitted by VMRO-DPMNE and the Coalition to increase the salaries of the administration by 15%.
The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia has submitted to all MPs a draft request with a proposal to increase the salaries of all employees in the public sector by at least 15%.
Half of the battle is won, and now the amendment remains to be confirmed by another parliamentary committee, the Legislative and Legal Committee.
Unfortunately, the MPs from SDSM did not vote this time as well, as they did not vote or voted against the SSM amendment to align all salaries with the increase in the minimum wage, which once again betrayed the workers.
According to the union's information, the MPs of SDSM and DUI said that they will cancel the vote and we warn them not to play with the patience of the workers, as with not receiving the 2806 MKD adjustment to the minimum wage that they voted against.
We appeal to all MPs to take courage and get the green light for the amendment from the legislative and legal commission and for all employees in the administration to get a 15% increase in their salaries.
As before, the SSM expresses its gratitude to all the MPs who support and propose the amendments of the workers who welcome the approach of the MPs who voted for this amendment:
