The payment of the annual leave allowance established by the General CA for the private sector is mandatory for all workers.
The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia together with the Employers' Organization, by signing the Agreement amending the GCA for the private sector in 2013, regulated the right to annual leave allowance for private sector employees.
The annual leave allowance is a right established through the dialogue between the representatives of the workers, i.e. the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia and the representatives of the employers - ORM, and given that this is a right regulated by signing a collective agreement, it is expected employers to fully fulfill the obligation they have voluntarily undertaken.
