Collective agreement signed between the ministry of defence and trade union of deffence

Signing of agreementMinister of Defense Talat Xhaferi and the President of the Trade Union Defense and Security Risto Ajtov signed the Collective Agreement for employees in this sector. The new Collective Agreement of the Ministry of Defense includes provisions on employees' rights - insurance, payroll, reporting, union organizing, liability, education, vocational training.

Ministry pays great attention to employees' rights, and they are continuously working on improvement of working conditions as a prerequisite for greater motivation and performance of official duties and responsibilities, said Minister Talat Xhaferi.

Regarding the payment of fees, legal framework is strengthened, and in case of unpaid fees employees have legal protection, said President Risto Ajtov. During signing of the Collective Agreement the President Ajtov granted Minister Xhaferi with award for his contribution to strengthening of the social dialogue between the Ministry of Defense and SOB.
