CONGRATULATIONS ON THE OCCASION OF 30 YEARS OF MACEDONIAN POLICE TRADE UNION

On behalf of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, the President of SSM, Darko Dimovski congratulates all members of the Macedonian Police Union on their 30th birthday and existence, and at the same time all members of the Ministry of Interior for whom the Macedonian Police Union in these past years he has been working hard.

The Constituent Assembly of the MPS was held on May 29, 1992, and on February 3, 1993, it was registered in the register of social organizations as "Independent Trade Union of Employees in the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Macedonia".

Sometime later, at its regular congress, respecting the wishes of the majority of members, they changed their name to "Macedonian Police Union".

On December 28, 1994, he was admitted as an equal member of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia.

The Macedonian Police Trade Union is the first trade union in the history of Macedonian trade unionism that gained the status of a representative trade union, determined by a decision of the competent Commission for determining representativeness.
