CONGRATULATIONS ON THE OCCASION OF THE DAY OF THE CONSTRUCTION WORKERS

On the occasion of June 20, Construction Workers' Day, the President of SSM, Slobodan Trendafilov, sends a congratulatory message to the Construction, Industry and Design Union of the Republic of Macedonia - SGIP and congratulates all construction workers in Macedonia on the holiday.

In 1936, the union organisation of construction workers began with a strike, which formed the first bodies and organs.

On June 20, 1936, the largest strike of construction workers took place in Skopje, which ended with the victory of the workers. That date is continuously celebrated to this day as Construction Workers' Day and the day of the Construction Workers' Union of Macedonia.

The Construction Workers' Union - SGIP, as the only construction workers' union, has a great historical responsibility for continuing the protection of construction workers and their workers' rights.
