The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia in cooperation with the German Federation of Trade Unions - DGB (the largest union in Germany) through the project Faire-Mobilitaet, offers free legal assistance and advice on their labor rights while working in the country.
According to the information of CCM from the growing number of workers leaving for work in Germany, as well as the information we receive from our colleagues from the DGB, workers need union protection, as well as free legal assistance.
Today CCM welcomed Ms. Bärbel Mauch, the Project Coordinator of Faire-Mobilitaet at DGB, who had a working meeting with Slobodan Trendafilov, the Chief of Cabinet of the President of CCM, Ivan Peshevski, the President of SGIP and Irena Ivanovska, the Advisor for International Affairs at CCM.
One of the aspects discussed during the meeting was the necessity that the information about the Macedonian workers on the websites of our German colleagues needs to be available in Macedonian as soon as possible in order to provide timely and detailed information on their workers' rights.
More information on workers’ rights, as well as contact details on the free legal assistance can be found at https://www.fair-arbeiten.eu/, https://www.faire-mobilitaet.de/.
The activities of CCM continue in future, deepening of our cooperation with our European colleagues in order Macedonian workers to enjoy the same labor rights with the others.
CCM shows that it is the leader of the trade union movement in Macedonia, as the oldest and most numerous trade union in the country. This leadership position is being managed with hard work and sincere care of the membership.
For 75 years, the legal protection of workers is our priority!
