DISSATISFACTION AMONG HEALTHCARE WORKERS FROM INCREASE OF SALARIES

On 31.08.2022, the Independent Trade Union for Health, Pharmacy, and Social Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia held a Council session attended by the Deputy Minister of Health Assoc. Dr. Vladimir Rendevski and the president of SSM Darko Dimovski, MSc.

At the same meeting, it was discussed to harmonize the salaries of employees in the health sector in accordance with the increase in the minimum wage.

Dissatisfaction was expressed on the basis of the non-forecasting of funds from the Budget for the correction of salaries in the health sector, and therefore a meeting with the Minister of Health Dr. Bekim Sali on 05.09.2022 was urgently scheduled to discuss joint activities to find the most appropriate solution.

After that, the Council will pass a Decision on the further activities and steps of the Independent Trade Union for Health, Pharmacy, and Social Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia.
