The drivers, servicemen, and maintainers of JSP employees who came out today for the warning process said that this is not the only problem they have, but they are facing a series of problems, as unprofitable enterprises, in the area of bus maintenance.
The employees of the Public Enterprise "JSP Skopje" announce that the citizens of Skopje may be without public transport in the coming days because they have not yet received their salary for the month of September.
- We cannot drive or service vehicles when we are hungry, says Mićo Stojanovski, president of the trade union organization of SSM at JSP "Skopje", who clarifies that all unions in JSP agree with the decision to stop their work if their salaries are not paid.
The JSP unions informed that on October 7, they informed the mayor of the city of Skopje that if they are not paid on October 15, there will be a work stoppage.
JSP buses will not go out on the streets of Skopje tomorrow if the September salary is not paid to the drivers, servicemen, and maintainers by 2:00 p.m. today.
This was announced today by the three representative unions who sent a message to the management of the city of Skopje and to the Government.
At the protest, they received support from the president of the Union of Trade Unions of Macedonia, Darko Dimovski.
