Eleventh meeting of the social and economic council

At the eleventh meeting of the Social and Economic Council held yesterday, February 14, various topics were on the agenda. The information was discussed about inspections in agencies for employment mediation, as well as the information on the situation and problems in the work of Misdemeanour Commissions in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affaires. At the agenda was also the Request filed by CCM for discussion about increase of the prices.

Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia submitted an initiative to the Social and Economic Council for amending the Law on Pension and Dissability Insurance; Initiative Amending the Law on Vocational Education and Training;  Initiative and Amending the Law on Adult Education. With these initiatives CCM requires amending the laws to regulate the issue of participation of the representative trade unions, i.e. CCM, in the Steering Committees, councils and centres.

At CCM’s proposal the initiative was also discussed for change of the working hours and initiative on the Law on Health Insurance.
