THE GOVERNMENT PROVIDED THE WORKERS WITH MORE EXPENSIVE BREAD, AND NO INCREASED WAGES, DISRESPECTING THE LAW!!

The government leaves the workers and citizens to fend for themselves as they know in the post-covid, economic, energy, and military crisis they are facing.

In the past period, the Government has not listened to the needs of its workers and citizens, and instead of directly affecting the standard of workers and citizens with timely and targeted measures, instead of increasing wages, it refuses to increase, i.e. harmonize, the wages of its employees and in this economic and energy crisis leaves them on the brink of existence.

The representatives of the Government from their comfortable armchairs in the air-conditioned offices see a rosy world, unlike the workers who, despite working day by day, are getting poorer because inflation is 14.5%, the union minimum basket for a year has increased by 5,498.00 denars, i.e. by 16%, the difference between the average net salary and the union basket in 2022 is 7,384 denars, the price of bread for 1 year has increased by more than 100%, of cooking oil by 94%, of fuels for 64.5%, not electricity by 9.4%, gas by 64.6%, and it has not been reduced to any product or energy.

The workers work and are poor, they work and cannot feed their families, they work and do not value their work, and while the state coffers are filled with taxes that flow into the state coffers due to increased prices, the workers and the citizens are struggling to come to an end with the enormous price increase, and winter is not even close yet.

Without the existence of real and justifiable reasons, the Government acts contrary to the Constitution, which regulates the obligation to respect the law, the laws, and the full functioning of the legal state, the Government does not act in accordance with the Law on Minimum Wage, other laws and the rule of law and did not provide an increase i.e. harmonizing salaries by at least 2806 denars for all employees in the public sector and thus cushioning the blow from the price shocks experienced by workers on a daily basis.
