On September 3, 2021 the Secretary of the Council of CCM, Zlatko Cvetkovski had a meeting with the secretaries and coordinators of the Regional Trade Union Offices of CCM.
At the meeting, the emphasis was placed on the free legal protection that the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, in accordance with its statutory provisions, provides primarily for its membership.
The trade union membership in CCM, receives protection of their employment rights primarily through the activities of the Sector for Labor Relations, Legal Protection and Collective Bargaining at CCM and the respective trade unions where workers are members.
The activities for protection of the workers' rights are undertaken by the authorized legal union representatives in 10 Regional trade union offices (Skopje, Bitola, Veles, Delchevo, Kavadarci, Kumanovo, Ohrid, Prilep, Tetovo, Stip) as well as in Resen, Sveti Nikole, Berovo, Vinica, Kocani, Gevgelija, Negotino, Kriva Palanka, Debar, Struga, Makedonski Brod, Gostivar, Kicevo, Strumica, Probistip, Radovish).
With the support of the Project: Strengthening Social Dialogue, funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Labor Organization, the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia technically equipped some of the regional offices through which CCM provides legal protection to the workers.
The activity is being implemented within the campaign LEGAL PROTECTION - SECURITY OF LABOR RIGHTS to raise awareness among workers and strengthen the capacity of CCM, with the support of the Project: Strengthening Social Dialogue, implemented by the ILO.
