The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, together with Agro- Union, strongly condemned and reacted sharply to the pressure exerted by the leadership of ZK Pelagonija.
Namely, the Main Trade Union Representative of ZK Pelagonija, Mendo Milevski was fired, which is contrary to the Labor Law and Collective Agreements.
In cooperation with the State Labor Inspectorate, the MainTrade Union Representative Mendo Milevski is coming back to work on Monday, 24.08.2020, when he will continue to perform his duties, as well as his trade union activities, as President of the branch union.
The cooperation between the trade unions and the Inspectors from the State Labor Inspectorate is an important link in the protection of workers' rights, especially in the protection of trade union representatives, who stand for the rights of all workers.
We remain committed to our work, and we shall not settle until all employment rights that belong to the workers are being realized in accordance with the Laws and the Collective Agreements.
