MEETING WITH IMF REPRESENTATIVES

The President of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia Slobodan Trendafilov, the President of UPOZ and Vice President of SSM for the Public Sector Trpe Deanoski and Lile Petrova, Chief of Staff at the Workers' Home, met with Annette Kyobe, Head of Mission from Washington, Yuan Xiao, Member of the Mission from Washington, Simona Kovachevska Stefanova, Economist at the IMF Office in Skopje and Faton Sulejmani, Economist at the IMF Office in Skopje. The meeting discussed, among other things, the need to increase the minimum wage by the demands of workers, the possibilities and how this can happen and the need to respect the General Collective Agreement for the Public Sector in the part of increasing the salaries of public sector employees under the new methodology.
